What is the Sitting Guarantee, and does it cover the $9.97 Founding Scholar pass?
The Sitting Guarantee is our 30-day refund promise. Buy any pass, including the $9.97 Founding Scholar pass, and use it with your kids for 30 days. If it isn't a fit, email feedback@classicalmath.games and you'll get your full payment back. There's no form, there are no hoops, and you don't have to explain. The Founding Scholar pass closes to new families on Saturday, Oct 17 at 11:59 PM MT.
Why is it called the "Sitting" Guarantee?
Because the real test of math practice is whether your child will actually sit down with it. A demo can look great and still get ignored at the kitchen table. Thirty days is enough time for real sittings: a few short sessions a week, on good days and tired ones. If after a month it isn't working for your family, you shouldn't be out the money.
Does it cover the $9.97 Founding Scholar pass?
Yes. The guarantee covers the Founding Scholar pass and the School Pass. A low price isn't an excuse for a weaker promise.
How do I ask for a refund?
Email feedback@classicalmath.games within 30 days of your purchase. Include the email address you used at checkout so we can match your receipt. That's all. You don't have to fill out a form, give a reason, or answer a survey.
What counts as "not a fit"?
Whatever you decide. It might be that your child doesn't like it, the timing is wrong, it duplicates what you already do, or you simply changed your mind. Your reason is your business.
When does the 30 days start?
On the day you buy. If you buy before the Founding Scholar deadline but plan to start later, keep that in mind: to use the guarantee, try the Arena within 30 days of purchase.
If I get a refund, can I buy Founding Scholar again later?
Not after the deadline. Once Saturday, Oct 17 at 11:59 PM MT passes, the $9.97 option is gone for new purchases. The School Pass would be the way back in.
Is this a promise about results?
No. I won't promise grades, test scores, or a timeline. Every child is different. The guarantee is about something simpler: if the Arena doesn't earn a place in your family's week, you get your money back.
Why offer it at all?
I'm a former fire captain and have been a paramedic for more than 20 years. In that work, your word is what people rely on when things are hard. I built Classical Math Games for my own three kids, starting late last year with flash cards for my son before his final tests. I'd rather refund a family who isn't a fit than keep money for something they don't use.
What about technical problems?
If a pass didn't unlock or you were charged twice, write to the same address, feedback@classicalmath.games, and we'll match the receipt to your account and fix it. That's separate from the guarantee.
What does the Founding Scholar pass include?
It includes the full Arena: number bonds, bar models, place value, fraction sense, Extra Practice, math facts with gentle timed drills, geometry and pattern, Tower of Hanoi, Wythoff's Game, and kindergarten companions for Dimensions Math KA. It covers every child in the house for as long as we operate the site, and it includes new activities as they're added. It's $9.97 once, until Saturday, Oct 17 at 11:59 PM MT. After that, new families start with the $97 School Pass, which carries the same guarantee.
Where should we start?
You don't have to buy anything to see the pace. Try Flash Cards for free with your child tonight, with no account needed.
