Shape Hunt — beside Dimensions Math KA Chapter 4
Dimensions Math KA Chapter 4 asks a child to notice curved or flat, closed shapes, rectangles, squares, circles, triangles, and simple position words. Shape Hunt is that looking-and-naming sitting, parent and child together, without a worksheet.
What this is not
This is not a 3D geometry game, not tracing, and not an official Singapore Math product. It does not add a second method. It only offers more of the same Chapter 4 ideas.

Kindergarten families using Dimensions Math KA who want five to eight quiet minutes of shape noticing beside the book.
How it works
- Sit beside your child. There is no timer and no score.
- Choose one idea: curved or flat, find the named shape, closed or not, where it is, or build a simple picture.
- The child taps large navy and gold shapes. A miss is quiet — try once more, then a gold hint.
- Stop whenever you like. The sitting ends with “That’s enough for today.”
